John Paul was born to Mexican immigrant parents in Chicago, IL and raised in Burbank, IL, a suburb on the city’s southwest side. He received his BA from Columbia College Chicago and his MFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He lives in Boston, MA and is a visiting instructor at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
